It's April Fool's Day

I cooked steak for dinner tonight and invited 3 lovely gals (actually 4...the fourth...mum had cooked for her) for dinner as well. Honestly, the steak was quite, overcooked, and tough (it had its moments, but they were tidy bits of the T-bone). We went for a movie - Hitch - again :) The second viewing was not as good as the first, but it was still pretty good - like I said, I have a soft spot for comedy. 'Hitch' paints a commentary on dating and it's difficulties - quite accurate at times. It reminds me somehow (or maybe I'm reading too much into this?) that people need to stay true to themselves and, touching on something I mentioned earlier, trusting other people i.e. letting our guards down (a difficult task, yet quite necessary :P)

I enjoyed the night, definitely. Sometimes going out with smaller group of people is so much more relaxing and enjoyable. I feel distressed at times trying to match the energy people have at 2am in the morning. How could they ever wake up early (e.g. for next day's 8a.m. lecture?)

ps. I played an April Fool's trick on a friend (WM!)...feeling a little guilty now. I kinda told her that I left my wallet at her place, and she searched her studio for it (? maybe).
